Pamper Night

3,299 total views, 2 views today

It’s not that often I use a night to chill and have a pamper – as much as I love it, so when I had a trip to Lush and bought a new bath bomb I thought why not go all out, and have a me evening!

With the weather getting colder, whats more perfect than lighting some candles, and relaxing in a hot bubble bath – and that is exactly what I did.

I bought the dragon’s egg Bath – bomb from Lush, and used my new vanilla pumpkin shower gel that I got at the Body shop event recently as a bubble bath. It smelt amazing. The dragons egg is a white bath bomb with pockets of colour in, so made my bath go a beautiful autumnal orange.

Depending on how I’m feeling I’ll either read in the bath or plan some future blog posts – which as I’m challenging myself to write a new post every day of October, is what I did.

Now I don’t know if this is a thing but after getting out of the bath I end up sitting on my bed in my towel scrolling through Instagram for agesss until it starts getting a bit too cold and its time for my body butter – again using one of my recent body shop purchases and rubbing vanilla pumpkin scent into my skin. Seriously if you haven’t smelt it yet – go go go!

Its then time for skincare – I try and take as much care of my skin as I can, having problematic skin anyway so will try and do a mask once a week – this night after taking all my makeup off, I cleansed and toned using a simple toner and a foaming facial cleanser – I’ve then been using these two products I found in ASDA quite a bit – the tea tree light moisturiser and clear skin gel, you can feel it getting to work straight away, and you just feel fresh after using it.

Now its time to properly chill, again not something I get to do half as much as I would like but I love to read. Seeing your phone screen last thing at night gets your brain working and not something that helps falling asleep as soon you get into bed – and I’m very guilty of always checking my phone, but instead I picked up my book and flicked through. I pre-ordered Zoe’s new book and have been reading little bits of that. Loving being a hostess myself this is probably the perfect book for me!

So there you have it – a little sneak peek into one of my pamper chill nights! What do you like to do when you have an evening to yourself? How do you like to pamper yourself?

The new Body Shop pumpkin range is the absolute best! I just love it so much, smells amazing. Wish I had a bath so I could relax like you, I normally have to opt for a facemask and few minutes of peace

Isn’t it just divine. I can’t stop smelling it! If only they did they scent in a candle! Facemask still sounds lovely though! x
