The Body Shop with Bournemouth Bloggers

Sunday evenings are usually my relax time – chill in front of the tv (most likely binge watching Orange is the new black) and have my pj’s on. But last Sunday instead I was invited down to the Body shop in Bournemouth with the gorge Bournemouth Bloggers.

They let us have the shop to ourselves to enjoy browsing all their products whilst sipping on glasses of prosecco! How perfect does that sound!?

I have been a huge fan of the Body shop for a long time now, especially for their body butters – and hadn’t managed to get down there since they had released their new body yogurts – similar to the butters, but a lot lighter and more of a whipped formulation. I couldn’t help myself and picked up one of their banana body yogurt! Oh maa gaad – it smells so incredible. The Body Shop also gave us a generous 30% off discount to use on the night, so it would have been rude not to get it really.

The girls that worked there were all incredibly knowledgeable and giving one to one skincare consultations and which products they recommend for your skin type, as well as body scrub demo’s on your hands and arms and mini makeovers with some of their lip products!

There were also a few new additions for autumn and winter which is very exciting – the first being their fall pumpkin range. I cannot even begin to explain how delicious this all smells – A body butter, hand cream and shower gel with a vanilla pumpkin scent. Everyone that smelt it became obsessed, and I also may have added a couple of these items into my basket too!

Also on show were their advent calendars – I have always been very intrigued by beauty calendars especially seeing as I have never bought one before, but the Body shop’s looked amazing – and I also spied a Christmas peppermint candy cane shower gel in there – which sounds so heavenly and I’m praying full size versions come out too so I can stock up! There were a great selection of body butters, bath bombs, facial spray, lip balms and shower gels. A perfect gift for someone this festive season or a little treat for yourself!

I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening taking a closer look at their products and having a catch up with some of the lovely girls there.

As well as being provided with discount we were also spoilt with a goody bag as we were leaving! Thank you so much to the Body shop for having us and well and truly spoiling us! And of course as usual to Emma from Bournemouth Bloggers for organising!

Now here’s a little peak into the goodies I bought and were given to me! I cannot wait to use everything, especially the Vanilla Pumpkin.
