How quickly your mood can change. Woke up in a great mood today as George slept for an amazing 11 hours straight last night. 🙌🏻
And then I got on the scales this morn, have put on a few pounds as my diet has consisted soley on Easter eggs and hot cross buns 🙃, we looked at school work today, did 10 minutes of reading and then both gave up with doing anything more and G resisted his nap all morning.
So now, I've cooked J and I lunch and put Disney plus on, George is finally settled and we're writing this afternoon off.
If anyone else is feeling in over their heads, you are so not alone and it's completely OK to put the school books away and take the pressure off for a bit. 💕

Pretty much my stay at home uniform at this point... Hairup, glasses on and any hoodie that doesn't have baby sick on, although I have definitely just spied a patch that I've clearly sponged 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Week 2 of home schooling and I woke up at 6am feeling like my brain was about to explode with a migraine, so wish me luck 🙃 and have a good Monday x

Happy Friday, home school is out for the week. Yes it's 11am - but early finish and all 😂 thinking a picnic in the garden for lunch, and then a playdoh activity this afternoon before heading back into the garden.

Well done for getting through week 1 of isolation/staying home/home school. X

Pete went and did the food shop today and came home with some goodies for me after a rough week, including 2 bunches of flowers, a candle and a giant Easter egg! Def knows the way to my heart. We also discovered (through Facebook memories) that it's our 8 year anniversary. Oops definitely forgot about that with everything else going on 😂 Love you @petecarey90 thanks for being my rock, my cheerleader, best friend and love. Now let's celebrate with a giant Easter egg for dinner 😬😋

Cuddles with my pooch in the sun 💕 today has definitely been a better day. I made a list of what I wanted to achieve and it made me feel so much more productive. Also thank the Lord for video chat so it still feels like I'm sitting at my mums house for a chat each morning. ♥️

A moment of calm in this scary world. Day 1 of home schooling complete, definitely tricky juggling school, a newborn and keeping both kids quiet when husband is on a conference call 😬 hoping we'll get into the swing of it. Feeling anxious beyond belief, and struggling to come to terms (in my own selfishness I know) that the first few months of my babies life will be spent in lockdown and not doing baby swim, or baby sensory like I'd hoped for, and thinking that come September I go back to work and don't get to have the experience we'd planned... Definitely just feeling down, I know there are worse things going on and I know it'll pass and I just have to thank my lucky stars for a healthy family. Now please keep them and your families safe and healthy by staying inside, and lets hope this storm passes quickly. ♥️
