Strawberry Picking

2,477 total views, 1 views today

Its hard to believe that last week was lovely weather, when now I look out the window to see grey clouds and drizzle. June what are you playing at!? Last week I went strawberry picking, one of my favourite things to do in the summer, and now one of Jacob’s favourites also, in fact so much so we actually went twice last week!

we have a pick your own farm 5 minutes down the road from us, and another in Lymington (which is my new personal fave, the strawberries are SO sweet!)

Whilst paying for our 2 punnets of strawberries I also saw you could pick your own flowers. Blue and Orange wild flowers for 50p a bunch. A bargain and they would look lovely in my lounge!

A beautiful afternoon out, and i cannot wait for it to be raspberry season! We’ll definitely be back sooner though as I love having fresh flowers in my house, and of course a bowl of strawberries and cream is always a winner.

What do you love doing every year when it comes to summer?
