My October diary

I quite like the idea of having a month of memories In one blog post – and I know quite a lot of bloggers do monthly round ups so I thought why not give my first one a go! October has FLOWN by and it’s come with both highs and lows -where to start?

Luna

If you follow me on social media you’ll know in September we bought Luna! This month she has been able to go out past our garden as she had all her vaccinations! We’ve taken her on plenty of walks – a favourite obviously being the beach and it’s been so lovely to get out with her and J and see them playing and running about.

Events

I have been lucky enough to be invited on some really cool and fun events this month. We had the launch of Mr Mulligans in Bournemouth the new crazy golf in BH2. This was also my goodbye day to Harrison! I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing friend, and was so sad to see him go! Although I love that we can still chat even if it is 12 hours apart!

Another two events I went to were Lush in Bournemouth – being a huge fan of lush I couldn’t wait, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! you can read about that here!

And last but not least the brewhouse and kitchen in Bournemouth! We were totally spoilt by the most delicious food! Again you can read more about that event here!

Miscarriage awareness week

I feel like I can’t go through an October roundup without mentioning this. A topic so close to my heart, not only did miscarriage and baby loss awareness week fall at the beginning of October, but so did my should be due date. A very sad weekend, but I lit my candle in memory of not only mine but all the other angels in the world.

Brand ambassadors

On a lighter night, my blogging has bought some great opportunities! In August I became a brand ambassador for Fun Central – an arcade in Bournemouth that we all love, and I love being able to make content and of course take J along with me for it!

But this month has enabled me to also become a blogger ambassador for weymouth sea life centre, which I am so excited about as again we are all huge fans, and I love that writing brings some amazing opportunities!

Halloween

Halloween hasn’t actually arrived yet but our party has been and gone, and we had such an amazing time. We ate, drank and had a great night with our friends! What could be better! I love a party!

Blogtober

Lastly, I couldn’t not mention Blogtober – one of the reason’s for this post! I am one day away from completing and I feel so chuffed I’ve done it! Last year I attempted blogmas and failed hideously! Whereas I’ve planned, taking lots of photos and definitely baked until my hearts content. Thank you for coming on my Blogtober ride with me. I’ve had such lovely comments and it’s shown me if I put my mind to it I can do it!

Thank you for reading my monthly diary, and happy Halloween for tomorrow! My last Blogtober post will be up tomorrow evening, so stay tuned!

What are you up to for Halloween? I’d love to know!
