Lush with Bournemouth Bloggers

I have been a HUGE fan of Lush for what feels like forever. I love mooching around the store smelling everything and browsing all their pretty soaps, so when I got an invite to go into their Bournemouth store with Bournemouth bloggers to see their seasonal range, I didn’t hesitate saying yes.

So on Tuesday night we all headed down and were greeted to a full store of smiling staff. I can’t praise them enough, everyone was friendly, in great spirits and very helpful and knowledgeable. We were given prosecco on the way in, in their little black tubs – if you save up 5 empties and bring them in Lush will swap it for a free face mask!

We were introduced to everyone and given a fun icebreaker. We paired up and tried some of their massage bars. Ciara and I paired up and we chose the snow fairy massage bar ( snow fairy is up there in one of my favourite lush scents!) I’ve never tried the massage bar so it was fun to try a new product.

It was a very interactive event which was amazing – we got to try our hand at making a few of their products. I’ve always wanted to make the bath bombs and finally got the chance. We made their shoot for the stars bath ballistic. Mine definitely didn’t look how the stores did, but I love it all the same and was so excited that we got to bring them home with us!

Another product we got to make was a cleanser called Buche De Noel – This smells unbelievable – like a Christmas cake, and was so interesting to see being made, rolled up and covered in seaweed with cute Christmas-y holly shapes. Again we were lucky enough to each take a pot home, and I am so excited to try this!

There were lots of other amazing things to have a look at – demo’s of their jelly bath bombs and trying some of their other scrubs! Not only that but we were able to browse their seasonal ranges that were in store. I’m a huge sucker for their Christmas range, but I also loved seeing what they had in their Halloween range. The Sparkly pumpkin always being a firm favourite.

Ā We were also very kindly treated to something of our choice to take home as well as the products we made, and as I said before being a HUGE snow fairy fan I decided on the snow fairy bubble bar wand! The smell is just ridiculously good. A new addition they also have are the body sprays – and of course surprise surprise snow fairy was my favourite, and we all got a spritz on leaving the store.

A huge huge thank you to the Bournemouth Lush store for having us. I had such a brilliant evening and loved being able to get stuck in and help make some products, and I can’t wait to run a bath and use my own bath bomb!
