Alfresco dining at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel

6,659 total views, 1 views today

Last Friday I was lucky enough to be invited along to Christchurch harbour hotel & spa for the launch of their alfresco dining with some of the Bournemouth bloggers.

I have never been before last week, but had heard great things -so I was really looking forward to it.

We arrived to a choice of bubbly or some delish fruit punch ( non-alcholic for the drivers) and shown around. We walked out to find a bar on top of the upper deck, fires ready to be lit for when the sun went down, tables with people happily chatting away, paella cooking, loungers on the lawn and of course the most stunning views to look out on.

Some of the amazing Bournemouth Bloggers!

The view is truly stunning looking out towards Mudeford, and the jetty is a perfect place for a few pictures – the picture above was kindly taken by Matt Pinner (Pinner’s photography)

We were served Paella from little sea-shells, which looked & tasted amazing ( although i’m not a seafood lover, I did enjoy the chicken and chorizo part of it!) They were also offering Oysters, and duck and tuna canapes.

After a few drinks, miniature ice creams were also brought round. So yum! Everything was presented beautifully, and very sea-side themed as you can see from the ice creams below.

It was such a wonderful evening in a beautiful setting. There are a few different alfresco events coming up – so I would definitely recommend it. A great place to go for a special occasion, or a catch up with your friends over a drink.

I really did have the best night and will definitely come back here for date night!

I also feel so lucky to have met such wonderful people through blogging, and am able to call them friends.

A huge thank you to Victoria the PR Manager and Christchurch harbour hotel for inviting us and for Emma who runs Bournemouth bloggers for getting us all together!

*I was very kindly invited along to the Christchurch harbour hotel, I wasn’t asked to write a blog post, and all my thoughts and opinions are my own!
